Dr. Joseph H. Berke was amongst the leading pioneers in person and issue centred psychotherapy which transformed the health sector during his lifetime. His legacy continues to be felt around the world.
Counter-Culture
In the 60's Dr. Berke was involved at the heart of the counter culture movement, participating in significant forums and publishing many works, including Counter Culture (1969) and The Cannabis Experience (1974)
Judaism
In his later years Dr. Berke grew close to Judaism which resulted in various publications and work including his annual Tu B'Shvat Seder and a regular seminar on the intersections of psychotherapy and Jewish mystical teachings
